Intermediate Spectrometer

Intermediate Spectrometer consists of a cast iron base along with leveling screws and bright plated fittings, read and protected by two opposite veniers. The equipment is used to make acute observations while performing complex physics experiments. Robust and precise designing enhances the durability and accuracy of the instruments. Carefully packed in a well polished wooden box, the chromatic telescope is fitted with premium grade Ram’s Den eye piece fitted with collimator and a cross wire. Heat Equipment

Travelling Microscopes

Rheostats

Power Rheostats are made with a variety of resistance & current carrying capacity so as to satisfy every need. They are wound with heavily oxidized eureka resistance wire upon a porcelain tube dia 44 mm aprox. The tube is carrying upon Bakelite rider and the heavy duty sliding contact is of the phosphor bronze with brass rod. 4 mm socket terminals are fitted, allowing for rheostat or potentiometer connection. Total resistance and maximum current capacity is marked on the slider. Total Permanent current loading should not exceed 75% of the marked values. Resistance Box

Resistance Box (Plug Type) is of a superior quality Heavy Brass Metal Blocks Size 7/16" are bound to Bakelite Plate by means of nuts and screws securing rigid fixation and eliminating any chance of contact error creping due to loosening of plugs and lugs which are cut to fine taper and are interchangeable. Product description: The instrument has a cup wheel consisting of three conical cups in a horizontal plane. The cup wheel spindle is of stainless steel and connected worm gearing to a revolution counter mounted in a water proof housing. By observing the counter reading at the beginning and end of any period of interest the average wind speed during the interval can be calculated. The counter observing window is sloped to permit easy reading when mounted on the mast.

Product description: A single beam scale, robust steel body with epoxy powder coated parts. The beam carries a sliding weight to indicate the weight from 0 to 5kg in divisions of 20 grams each. One hanger and one slotted mass is provided to increase the capacity of the balance. When only the hanger is suspended from the end of the beam the capacity increases to 10 kg and the reading starts from 5 kg onwards on the scale up to 10 kg. On adding the slotted mass on to the hanger the capacity increases to 15 kg and the reading starts from 10 kg onwards on the scale up to 15 kg. Braun Electroscope

This rugged, sensitive electroscope can accept various accessories to change its capacitance. A sensitive aluminium vane is balanced in a vertical position on a metal support which is insulated from its base. The vane is easily observed and projected on a chalkboard (Light Source, not included) on which an arbitrary scale has been marked. Height without attachments is about 9". Demonstration Dynamo

This model uses the same basic assembly as the motor, but is mounted on a baseplate 230 x 90 mm. approx. which also carries a hand-drive pulley 120mm. diameter coupled to the smaller dynamo pulley by a rubber belt to give a step-up ration. Demonstration Gear System Model

A series of models to demonstrate different gearing systems. With transparent slideplates, the gears may easily be seen and where necessary there is an index on the primary and secondary shafts to show the change in the direction of rotation and the relative speed of rotation. A simple three-speed and reverse-gear system using spur gears. Reverse gear is obtained by interposing a small lay-shaft mounted pinion between the two main shafts. Gear selection is by means of a short ball-ended lever.
